The rooms and corridors of the baroque building of the Invalidovna were designed at the beginning of the 18th century to house war invalids and their families. In the last twenty years, the National Technical Museum as well as the Military Central Archives of the Czech Armed Forces have moved out of the building. The Office for Government Representation in Property Affairs put the building up for auction but no bids were received. This February, the building was declared a National cultural monument and we are happy to be able to make it accessible again this year and to contribute to the discussion about its future employment.
