ARCHITECTURE OF THE FIRST REPUBLIC IN PRAGUE

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Czechoslovak Republic, we decided to gradually introduce to you a few usually inaccessible buildings which are related to this period as part of the project Architecture of the First Republic in Prague. We will show you the works of architects who brought new views on architecture at the time, who were not afraid of experiments and innovations or worked with new materials. Aside from the diversity of architectural styles (historicism, purism, functionalism, national style, and more), we also want to show you a diversity of types. That is why our program selection includes school buildings, buildings of physical education, culture, or banks, as well as representative, residential, or originally industrial buildings.

Tour entry is for free, currently with no need of booking.
