A nice stroll from the evangelical cemetery in Strašnice will take you all the way to the cemetery in Vinohrady. A why visit it? The Neo-Gothic Chapel of St. Wenceslas – the cemetery’s dominant feature – is where former president Václav Havel lies with his first wife Olga. Sometimes, you can even meet official foreign delegations, whose members come to pay their respects to the former head of our country, and so, the chapel becomes a pilgrimage site of sorts. You can also admire the collection of valuable original funeral sculptures.
