This remarkable landmark of the Dejvice quarter did not grow on many people, yet its construction can be considered a unique example of socialist realism. Its decoration, to which a number of leading Czech artists have contributed, illustrates the advanced level of the Czechoslovak craft in the post-war years. The guided tour takes you not only to the representative hotel interiors but also to the hotel tower with outdoor terraces. You can have some refreshments in the hotel bar, named after one of the most famous guests, American jazz trumpet player and singer Louis Armstrong. Finish your Dejvice open-house circuit right here, if you will!
