Year: 1967–1973
Architects: Karel Prager

Even today this office building by the famous architect Karel Prager is a fine example of so-called brutalism – the architectural style of the 1960s and 1970s. The building reaffirms its qualities by serving as the seat of the Prague Institute of Planning and Development where core municipal strategic development documents, including the much discussed Metropolitan Plan, are created by experts. Meet the old and the new Prague in the building that architects have named “Prager’s Cubes”.
