On the site of the former Mariana City Walls of Prague Karel Kramář, the politician and future first Prime Minister of Czechoslovakia, built a house for his wife Nadejda Nikolajevna in 1911–1914. No expense was spared in the construction of the house but one week after the couple moved in, Kramář was arrested and imprisoned. This year both Saturday and Sunday will offer a unique opportunity to visit this elegant seat which is now being used by the current Prime Minister of the Czech Republic.
