Thanks to patents from the unique research of the genius chemist Antonín Holý, whose substances today treat e.g. AIDS, the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry could reconstruct its historical first republic building and also start building new premises. The modern workplace of organic chemistry was completed and put into operation in 2015 and for its shape has been nicknamed “cauliflower”. The guided tour will take you through selected areas of both buildings, including outdoor terraces offering you lovely views of the entire Dejvice university campus.
