The app offers an easy and safe way of purchasing tickets to all events organized by the nonprofit Open House Praha. You can also use the app to buy gift vouchers, and it contains a clear overview of the program with a search and filter option, updates, and practical information. Through the app, it is alsopossible to purchase gift vouchers and tickets for multiple events at the same time.
Can I buy a gift voucher for year-round events?
Yes! If you’d like to give one of our walks and guided tours from the Events Calendar as a gift to somebody, you can use our gift vouchers, available in different values. The vouchers can be purchased online on our website and in the Open House Prague app. The recipient does not have to use the full value of the voucher at once. The remaining balance can be applied as a discount on future purchases.
The ticket price is lower than the value of my gift voucher, how can I redeem the full voucher?
You can redeem the remaining credit as a discount when purchasing another ticket to one of our events on our website or in the app. Just enter the voucher code (in the Gift Voucher field) and you’ll get a discount automatically.
Are there any admission discounts?
We do not currently offer any discounts. As a nonprofit organization, we need to cover the costs related to the events ourselves, unlike publicly funded institutions. The profit from ticket sales helps us finance the Open House Prague festival, which opens dozens of buildings and spaces for free. Therefore, by purchasing tickets to our events, you support the realization of the festival.

Tickets cannot be purchased on site due to accounting and logistical difficulties.

Tickets purchased through the Open House Praha website or app can be paid for online, either by card or via Apple/Google Pay. Cash or bank transfer payments are only possible when purchasing through GoOut.net.
I can’t make it to the event. Can I return or exchange my tickets?
Tickets that have been purchased cannot be refunded or exchanged. We recommend that you offer your tickets to someone else.
Are your events suitable for children?
Tours and workshops that are designed specifically for children are traditionally held mainly during the Open House Prague festival and are distinctly marked in the Events Calendar. As part of our year-round events, children can visit the Great Strahov Stadium. We also offer tours for schools, depending on the age category. In case of interest, please contact us at info@openhousepraha.cz.
If your children wish to attend a standard event and they will not disrupt the event’s course, it is necessary to buy a ticket for them as well due to limited capacity. Children younger than 3 do not need their own tickets.

Selected tours are organized with regards to wheelchair accessibility. Additional information on limitations and difficulties of the route is included in the description of some events.

During the Open House Prague festival and year-round events, we take photographs and make audiovisual recordings for the purposes of informing about events, promoting them, and reporting to our partners about our activities (website, social media, final reports, yearly reports). You can read more about how we handle personal data in the section Personal Data Protection.
